Melbourne born guitarist, Ray Grech, has honed his skills by playing in many bands over the past 40 years and has captivated audiences with his hypnotic performances drawing his influences from guitarists of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s – Santana, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Jimmy Page and David Gilmore.
His expression and tone when performing songs with both acoustic and electric guitar have moulded him into a soulful, dynamic guitarist for all genres. He has played with and supported many high profile artists in the music industry such as Brian Cadd 1997, Darryl Braithwaite Band in 2001, Troy Cassar-Daley & Tania Kernaghan in 2008. He is currently playing with The Tyson Colman Band, the multi talented Angela Fabian in The Angela Fabian Band, The Waves and various other duos. Ray’s versatility and genuine passion for playing all styles of music makes him a guitarist that is in demand and a great asset to any band or duo.
